Maths & Science Week - Measuring Volume of 3D Shapes

​Year 6 went on a 3D shape hunt in the playground and took the measurements of height, depth and length of the objects they found.  They came back into class to identify and draw their 3D shapes to scale and calculate the volume.  The children challenged themselves to go further by identifying the volume of a cylinder…
