Dissecting a pig's eye

This was a very gory but thoroughly enjoyable lesson which helped us learn about the parts of an eye. Dissecting the eye was really tough and it helped us realise how strong this part of the body is.  It also helped us identify and know the parts of an eye.  Some of us now will consider entering the medical or science profession…it was so fascinating!  We absolutely feel ready and confident for our biology lessons in secondary schools.
