Year 6 conducted a fair test in science to observe whether the size and shape of the beak of a bird would affect the number of worms it could consume. They recorded their data using Google Sheets, working out the average and learning how to input formula.
Pupils then went onto create charts displaying their results. They were able to create several charts by learning the chart icon and deciding on the chart which best highlighted their results. This lesson was thoroughly enjoyed. The pupils welcomed the opportunity to expand their knowledge of applying data to technology. Pupils reported boosted confidence and preparedness for secondary school. Comments are closed.
