Learning about Baptism

As part of our RE topic, The Christian Family, we invited one of our parents into school to discuss the baptism of their child. The children listened carefully to the events in a baptism. They handled the different objects linked to a baptism with care and they asked sensible questions, including a very thoughtful question from one of our newly elected Y3 School Councillors: 
What do you have to do at church before you get your baby baptised?
Many thanks to the parent who brought in precious baptism items, prepared excellent questions for the children and lovely, special family photographs of their child's baptism.
