Year 3 enjoyed the school grounds and made close observation of our flowers. They identified the male and female parts of a flower and then constructed their own in art and D.T  This week we celebrated Science and Maths Week. Most of the learning took place outdoors in our school grounds. The objectives for this was to continue with our creative curriculum as well as encourage a love for science and maths. The whole school dressed up as their favourite Scientist or Mathematician where year 3 had some very imaginative costumes.  Year 3 were investigating the air resistance of different shapes of parachute. Using stopwatches, they measured the amount of time it would take for their parachute to reach the floor. |
