The children learned about how the Egyptians used hieroglyphics as a form of communication and writing. They practised writing their names in hieroglyphics on paper and later made a name plate using clay and carefully etched their name into the clay before it dried. After they allowed it to dry, they then painted a base colour on their name plate. Later they used a fine tipped paint brush to paint their name in colours that would have been popular in Ancient Egyptian times. Comments are closed.
