This week in nursery we used positional language as we continued our hunt for Goldilocks. After our hunt we took Goldilocks to say sorry to the bears. Then together with Goldilocks and the bears we all ate porridge for breakfast. We loved it! What an exciting week we have had in Nursery. We came in on Tuesday morning and found out that someone had burgled the bears’ house. The Police cordoned off the bears’ house and turned it into a crime scene. We looked at the evidence that we could see such as a broken chair, bowls and spoons on the floor, bits of fluff and little pieces of paper. The children were so excited to be detectives and came up with ideas as to who had been in our classroom and how she managed to come in when the door was locked. Who has burgled the bears’ house? Children’s ideas It was the crocodile. (Ibrahim) It was Goldilocks. (Mathilde) I think Goldilocks stole the key from Sean and messed the Bear’s house. (Izel) She took it when Sean was asleep in his pyjamas. (Ella) Our Police officers interviewed the children and looked at all of the evidence and decided it was Goldilocks. We drew some maps of all the places she might be. Where is she now? Maybe she is in the forest. (Izel) She is behind the tree. (Noa) She is in the bushes. (Maxime) Maybe she is up the tree. (Giacomo) She is behind the big grapes. (Axelle) She is in the garden. (Kira) We will continue to look for Goldilocks next week. I hope we will find her and ask her to say sorry to the bears. |
