Green Day in Year 5

​Year 5 enjoyed a successful Greek day.  A culmination of their geography/history study of Ancient Greece.  They made a great effort to come to school dressed in Greek style costumes (thanks for parent input).
 
The day was filled with activities like:

• making laurel leaf style headwear
• decorating Greek vases with drawings and patterns
• making bookmarks with their own name in the Greek alphabet
• cooking Greek honey cake to take home.

 
There was also a fun filled booklet devised by Miss Nahar, 3 of which may receive a prize when returned to school!
