​Art – Alexander Calder

Year 5 are learning about Alexander Calder an abstract artist who used organic shape to create paintings, mobiles and stabiles. The children learned about his life and work and then responded to some of his paintings by creating their own artwork.  They used primary colours, geometric or natural shapes to inspire them. I think you’ll agree they have created some beautiful pictures.
