During Art we studied the Artist Georgia O’Keeffe. We used her paintings as inspiration to create our own pictures of flowers.
St Paul's Cathedral trip
We visited St Pauls Cathedral to learn about the Great Fire of London.
While we were there we sketched the Dome of the Cathedral.
Mono Printing - St Paul's Cathedral Dome
We drew the dome of St Pauls Cathedral on A5 paper and then imprinted it onto a polystyrene block. We then learnt how to use the roller to cover the printing block in paint. Then we transferred this to our paper and talked about how to use 4 different colours to print by layering.
Science lesson - animals
In Science we worked in small groups to complete an animal and their young matching card activity-matching the baby animals with their parents. We then labelled the animals and their babies with their names. Come and ask what a baby snake, deer and goat is called.
