Messy Maps

​In small groups the children recapped all they had learnt about the local area. After we investigated our local area through short walks, we also looked at aerial photographs, used Digimaps, talked about what we could see on much larger scale maps and discussed the human and physical features of the area.  They we used classroom objects to represent places or features of our locality and created a map of the local area.
