HOMEWORK AND P.E.

  • Spellings – Spellings will be set once a week - please hand in on Wednesday.
  • Comprehension - Set once a week - please hand in on Wednesday
  • Maths – a short activity - every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - assigned to consolidate class work  and marked at the beginning of the lesson. If your child needs more support with Maths, one of the team may post some extra Maths work during the week either by worksheet or on Google Classroom.
  • RE Homework – A written piece of homework will be set half termly and will link with the RE curriculum. Other homework set may include learning prayers, Mass responses or hymns.

​Please note homework is set to help your child suceed in Year 5. If the homework is taking more time than expected or if your child is finding the work very difficult, please inform the class teacher as soon as you can.

PE
PE kits should be brought into school on Monday and remain in school until Friday. We have two sessions of PE each week.
​
Other
Please supply your child with a bottle of water to keep them hydrated during lessons.
