HOMEWORK AND P.E.
All homework will be given out on a Thursday this term, and should be returned by Wednesday.
As a staff, we are aware of the balance needed between ‘catch-up’ and overloading children and families with additional pressures. However, if you have any questions or comments, I will always address them.
PE
PE kits need to be worn to school every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday when Year 4 children attend swimming.
Other
Please supply your child with a bottle of water to keep them hydrated during lessons.
- English homework will often include aspects of R.E., art, history or geography and will use spelling and grammar
- Spelling - the children have individual, group and/or topic spellings
- Maths - homework is usually linked to Mathletics.
- Children should read daily and write in their reading journals.
- Children should practise their times tables as often as possible.
