Illuminated by Christ, we radiate His love
The Daily Mile
Each morning, our school day begins with the Daily Mile. From 8:25, pupils are encouraged to walk, jog or run for 10 minutes before going into class for a soft start to learning, with registers taken at 8:45. This simple, inclusive routine promotes physical fitness, emotional wellbeing and readiness to learn, helping pupils regulate, concentrate and engage positively with the ambitious curriculum. Regular participation supports healthy habits, improves stamina and resilience, and contributes to pupils’ broader personal development. The Daily Mile also strengthens relationships and fosters a calm, orderly start to the day, removing barriers so pupils can achieve highly.
