Submitting a prayer or intention is a simple way for children and families to share what is important to them so that we can hold these people and situations in our whole-school prayers and collective worship. This helps to support children’s spiritual development and emotional wellbeing, especially in times of worry, sadness or change and shows them that they are listened to, valued and cared for as unique individuals.
By inviting prayers and intentions from home, we strengthen the partnership between school and families and ensure that our assemblies are rooted in the real lives and experiences of our community.
